Silent Auction, "Around the World" Student Talent Showcase, and International Bake Sale

Friday, May 4, 2012 in the SAC from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

On May 4th, the Blair PTSA is holding the annual Silent Auction to raise funds for PTSA programs including After Prom.  The stage in the SAC will feature our talented student musicians and singers, as well as demonstrations by clubs active at the school.  Proceeds will assist the PTSA in continuing its important work next year helping Blair students, faculty, staff and families.

The Auction and Bake Sale kick off at 5:30 p.m. and the Student Talent Showcase not long after.  Auction tables will close starting at 7:30 p.m.  Its not too late to volunteer your talents or time for the event.  If you can help in any way, please contact any of us listed below.

The Silent Auction Catalog - and advance bidding - is now online!  See the index and schedule of table closings here.  Advance bidding continues through 5 p.m. Thursday, May 3.  New this year, you can "Buy Now" in the advance bidding.  Its not too late to make a donation!

BUY NOW: During Advance Bidding or at the live Silent Auction, the first bidder submitting a bid for an item, equal to or greater than the "Buy Now" amount, will win the item.  The "Buy Now" amount is 125% of the value for items less than $100, or 110% for items with a value greater than or equal to $100.

PAYMENT: BUY NOW bidders who cannot be present at checkout time to claim winning bids, or have not designated someone (upon registration) to collect their items and make payment, should make arrangements to pay using the Blair PTSA PayPal account or by check payable to Blair PTSA, in advance of the Silent Auction on May 4.

TAX DEDUCTIONS: This catalog lists a value for each auction item.  In some cases these stated values are estimates specified by the donor.  They are intended to assist participants in placing their bids.  If you pay more for an item than the estimated value, you may claim as a tax deduction the amount paid above the value.
