About BBOPS
BBOPS is the Blair Band and Orchestra Patrons.
The BBOPS support the instrumental music students and is made up of parents and guardians of instrumental music students.
BBOPS is a group of mostly parents that supports the instrumental music department.
We strive to expand the types of experiences available to students and
to ensure that any student who wants to play an instrument can play.
The county budget for music is very small, and the department would not operate well
without the fundraising and other support offered by BBOPS members.
Any & all are welcome to volunteer, to help us make decisions about fundraising and spending funds,
or just to see what the group is about.
Our support is needed now more than ever -- budget cutbacks for advanced classes were narrowly avoided this year.
We meet on the first Tuesday of every month from 7 to 8:30 pm in the Band Room.
Enter from the Colesville side of the building directly into the Band Room (the door is to the left of the main entrance).
The instrumental music teachers participate, and we are usually about 8 - 10 people.
New ideas and energy are very welcome.
BBOPS has a list serve that serves as a source of information and announcements about Blair's instrumental music program.
Parents, guardians, students, and Blair staff are welcome to join.

COMMITTEES
The following standing committees will manage the various aspects of Booster activities. The President will appoint the Chair of each Committee, who will then recruit committee members. The standing committees are:
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The Executive Committee will be comprised of the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and the Chair of each Committee. The Executive Committee will work together to oversee and all aspects of Booster Club operations.
